DeleteI live in Canada, and I've, thankfully, never had jury duty. My husband was called once, but they got enough people and so didn't need him. And, he kind of did the happy dance,lol!

Ewww... I just served jury duty last year and got another summons a few months ago and thankfully I was dismissed again. I just tell them I have an uncle whom I love and respect who's a cop and I sit there and look really mean and b*tchy and they dismiss me within the first 1-4 people every time. Been through that dance 3 times in the last 3 years. Yucky!! I hope you get dismissed. It's our duty, sure... but they don't pay enough for me to miss work or my son. Plus... every case I sat in on was a guy abusing a woman or an old person. Guilty!! hahah
